Nyn, once a sacrifice to the Queen, this child who's true name is lost to history became one of the mysterious horned boy Shadows that can be seen from time to time in the castle. He lost all thought of what it was to be himself and drowned in the darkness that the Queen had wrought.

When the appearance of one Ardyn(brought by the Queen herself and not in fact Ozuma) came to the castle, bringing with him a darkness the Queen knew not, something sparked in him. Something changed. The Scourge effected him not unlike it effected the Heroes that Ozuma brought to aid him. The Scourges short period meant that Nyn was the only one for this to happen to, thankfully for the Heroes.

Nyn believes he is protecting Yorda, as he was instructed by the Queen, that she simply does not understand that the Queen truly loves her daughter. Of course his mind has been twisted from his time as a Shadow as well as the fact that all he has ever known or can remember is the Queen and Ardyn. Sweet lies whispered by the only people he has ever known, he had no reason to question them. Even any protests that Yorda might have had during her imprisonment has fallen on deaf ears.

The scourge gave the horned boy his corporeal body back...however it was twisted. Skin turned an ashen blue with dark veins of Shadow weaving through his features. His eyes glow a vicious red and a smoke like shadows waft off his body and horns. His clothing is not unlike Ico's, though tattered more in places.

Weapon:

• Nyn fights with his claws, teeth, and sickle like tail.

Abilities:

• He has been given command over Shadows by the Queen to help "protect" Yorda.

Elemental Affinities:

• Fire: Half Damage
• Ice: About 20% more damage than normal
• Thunder/Lightning: Normal damage
• Light: At least 50% more damage than the attacks base damage, possibly more.
• Dark: Will actually heal him
